Damon has two decades of experience working with and investing in private companies. He has a passion for finding exceptional talent and partnering to unlock a company's full potential.
Prior to Hillspoint, Damon spent nearly a decade at Altas Partners as a Partner and Investment Committee member. He joined prior to the close of Fund I and was an integral part of the senior leadership team that grew the investment team five-fold and assets under management ten-fold to $10 billion.
Damon previously invested at Mill Road Capital, an investment firm founded by former Blackstone professionals, and Onex, a publicly-traded investment firm. He started his career in the M&A group at CIBC in Toronto.
Damon received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University in Canada.
Damon grew up in Canada and now lives in Westport, Connecticut with his wife and three children.
